Proud of Myself

So it's been a while since I updated this blog - and due to a overall lack of time will probably be another year before we update again! :) So much is going on, and so little time! I am extremely proud of myself because tonight I figured out how to add a facebook and twitter button to the Corvus Coffee Website! Score!! :) This may seem like a small thing to some, but for me (the technologically challenged), it's a huge victory! This leads into an update - we've started our own coffee roasting business, and are working to take coffee in Denver to the next level. You can check out the website for more information on our progress and current offerings! It's currently taking all of P's time (he quit his full time job in May), and all of my spare time. It's such an exciting time! It's so great to see P doing something he's so passionate about! We'll be opening a shop in the next couple months - can't wait!

Anyway - just was excited about my ability to add a facebook button to the website, normally I let P handle all that stuff! hah! Take joy in the little things right? :)

Phil's Grandma & Grandpa Weeda came for a few days! We had a nice time... and were glad to have them :)

Do you work here?

Let me tell you a pet peeve of mine working retail... when you are VERY obviously working there, name tag and all.. customers come up to you and say "do you work here?" ... I want to say to them "Nope...just stole a nametag...and stocking shelves with stuff I brought from home .... Here's your sign!" :D

Ever have one of these days??

Saw this picture on someone elses blog...thought it was HILARIOUS!! If you ever DO have one of those days... I think looking at this picture would make a person feel better! lol! :D

So, for my birthday Phil suprised me and took me to a fancy fondue restaurant - it was fun and absolutely delicious!!!! We did this once before in Chicago at an awesome place called Geja's - we really need to get a fondue pot of our own! We got a Wisconsin Cheese fondue(sharp cheddar, blue cheese, one other one), a garlic herb fondue for our meat, and a milk chocolate with peanut butter swirled in for our dessert fondue! Yum! Needless to say we were too full for cake when we got home but will be finishing it off this weekend! It's from a little german bakery here in town..tomorrow we'll be heading to the Taste of Colorado for the day - should be fun! :) Oh.. and apparently the pictures post in the opposite order that you upload them, so we're starting with dessert :)

New Furniture Round 2 :)

We got a new furniture set about a month ago, but there was a problem with the leather so we exchanged it out for this one! Same style, just a dark brown instead of the black! We're loving it! :) Poor Finn isn't allowed.. he gets relegated to the rug by the front door.... and goes with a sigh... :)
